I really enjoy Salsa Limón! The employees are wonderful and always down to give recommendations. They have super generous portions (huge tacos) and the pricing isn't bad (only $4-5 per taco). Which means you can eat a really filling meal for $10 which is hard to beat in Austin. Their margs are also unexpectedly strong which could be a really good or bad thing depending on what you're going for, but it's definitely economical. I'm obsessed with their salsa selection - the habanero salsa is my favorite! My main complaint (hence the 4/5 review) is that I occasionally run into issues with my taco being soaked in oil. 75% of the time, the taco is perfect, but the other 25% of the time it's really oily and my tortilla gets soft. I've noticed this more with the asada or pastor tacos. However, I will keep coming back and risk the occasional oily taco because they are delicious.

Solid taco place! It didn't absolutely blow me away so I can only give 4/5 stars, but the staff was friendly and helpful, the tacos are only $4.25 each, and you can get 3 or so of them and get full. Bathroom is clean, and the seating is picnic table style so plenty of room. I enjoyed the asada one most out of the two I got (also tried chicken). They're made with traditional small corn tortillas but they double them up to help them keep their shape. Overall did enjoy the tacos! Bet they'd be great with a marg or Paloma on their drink menu. Oh also - they have free chips and salsa during happy hour which they said was 2-6p on weekdays.

Can't wait to go back!! The tables are all picnic tables both indoor and outdoor seating is available. They have handheld menus as well as billboard style. Lots of options for both omnivores and vegetarians alike. I had the torta with mushrooms , added Avacado and let me tell you it did not disappoint! The bread was really good and so was the filing however I wish there would have been more mushrooms, I loved the salsa options the habanero and tomatillo were my favorite two! Everyone at my table enjoyed thier meals and the drinks. Others had the vegatarian tacos , asada quesadillas, a chicken taco, a asada taco which they really liked, and a asada torta. We had the frozen margarita which was quite chunky (the ice) , however the one on the rocks was good and a decent amount of liquor in them. The Paloma spritz was quite tasty too. This is counter service restaurant where you order get a number and they bring it out to your table .... if something is needed after food is dropped you have to get up and get it. However, The staff was nice each interaction we had and the food came out pretty quickly.

They get a lot right for simple burritos and bowls portioned generously with tasty ingredients. Their meats are very good, especially the barbacoa and steak. All of their sauces are fresh and very solid. My only complaint was one bad breakfast burrito. I ordered it with sour cream (one of the uber eats menu options), and they must have added it when the eggs were piping hot, because it completely melted and left a soupy burrito. Of the times I've gotten bacon, I've also been very disappointed by soggy, stringy meat. (TLDR: avoid the sour cream and bacon on breakfast burritos here)

Had the pleasure of eating at Salsa Limón today for a coworkers birthday lunch. Very cute place I must say. When arriving you can tell that parking is tight but we were there before 12 so we found parking. The staff is personable and informative on how they operate, you can either order at the front or at the table on the QR code. I did like that the QR code had a "group" order option. The menu is pretty simple, with different types of tacos, bowls, quesadillas and burritos. I ordered the Vegetarian bowl that came with, Spanish rice, black beans, cilantro, cheese, cabbage and avocado. I loved it! It was the perfect amount and I was able to finish my whole meal and not feeling overly stuffed. Winning! Definitely recommend this place for a nice lunch if in the area.

I think this place is a hidden gem. Everything was really tasty and pretty cheap. A pitcher of margarita was only $25 and we split it between 5 people. The rice and beans were YUM and only $2.50 #epicpricealert The queso was SUPER watery and kinda bland but the chips were thick and I enjoyed them. The taco had crispy cheese, cilantro, onions, and cabbage and I got steak with it on a flour tortilla. The meat was extremely juicy and it didn't have any fatty pieces. The steak was good! ‍

Y'all I freakin love it here, and it's seemingly some of the only late night dining left in Austin! PLUS karaoke Weds-Fri??!!! You might have to dodge some hoardes of college kids, but the tacos (and queso) are worth feeling like the absolute oldest person in the world. Everything is fresh and authentic and affordably priced! I highly recommend the favorito, it's basically a reasonable portion of the famous Don Juan. I also love the pastor and the chips and queso. Can't wait to work my way through the menu. Service is quick and friendly, and the space is bright and always clean. You can see into the kitchen, too, and it's always clean and organized in there as well, which is comforting. Go check it out!

I came here thinking it was a food truck style with outdoor seating only, and was more than pleasantly surprised with the cute interior. Then we got our food, and it was all incredible. My chicken burrito was a 9/10, the steak quesadilla was a 7/10, the Mexican rice was a 9/10 (very greasy). We got the dip trio and the guac 6/10, salsa 7/10 (kind of tasted like spicy tomato sauce), and the queso was a 6/10. You can order on a QR code which was super convenient, but you can also order at the register or at a self-checkout style register. They bring the food out to you promptly!

Very tasty tacos! I was in the neighborhood for a comedy show at Spiderhouse and wanted to grab a bite beforehand and ended up here. They have a small parking lot and street parking can be hit or miss depending on when you're trying to eat. This is a standard situation for any place close to campus though. Foodwise though this is a great option for food if you're in the area. Tacos were tasty and came out relatively fast. I had a barbacoa and the others in my group got the carne asada tacos. They do run about ~$4+ a pop but solid food. And they even have 3 different salsas, my favorite was the jalapeño one
